The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has recently declared the results of the Group-1 Mains examinations. With a total of 259 candidates qualifying for the interview stage, the APPSC has demonstrated its commitment to conducting a timely and transparent selection process for the coveted 111 Group-1 posts. Notably, 39 candidates were selected from the sports quota, showcasing the commission’s dedication to promoting talent from diverse backgrounds.

Impressively, the APPSC released the results a mere 34 days after the Group-1 examination concluded. Out of the 5,035 candidates who appeared for the mains exam held from June 3 to 10, the top 259 candidates secured their place for the interview stage. These individuals have demonstrated their exceptional knowledge and skills, positioning themselves as strong contenders for the Group-1 posts.

The interview stage for the selected candidates is scheduled to commence on August 2. This timeline allows ample time for preparations and ensures a seamless transition from the written examination to the interview phase. Throughout the entire Group-1 examination process, APPSC Chairman Gautam Sawang and Secretary J. Pradeep Kumar have overseen the operations with utmost care and diligence.
